I put off watching the rest of Gurren Lagann because Earl and Fairy's ending disappointed me. It didn't help that somewhere, I've read that the last parts would be a disappointment since Simon would end up being a clone of Kamina and I was right before the last battle, when Simon had another costume change. Then again, I've over looked the fact that this IS Gurren Lagann, after all. (Spoilers + Pics under the cut)

Well, this has certainly been a busy week for my catching up with certain fandoms. I've taken a break on my yaoi-manga and Battle Royale roll and added more shonen and seinen to my to-read list. I also did some catching up with my anime as well as the manga I've had on pending.

As an introduction --- faksdfjhaklsdhflasj I think I've fangirled a week's worth of fangirling after marathoning Gurren Lagann this weekend. My eyes bled, as well as my heart and nose from all the awesomeness that went on.

Also, there's a new version of Ai no Kusabi coming out with 13 episodes - it's got new art, too. And hopefully, new music. The original Ai no Kusabi, by the way, has only 2 OVAs, less than an hour each. Can't wait!

LJ I MISSED U ♥

ANYWAYYYYY... Since Strobe Edge, I've begun looking through some new shojo series (not counting Kaori Yuki's which I can't even consider shojo now that I think about it - she's another genre altogether). First would be Zettai Kareshi which was... so-so. Now, I'm reading Dengeki Daisy and Earl and Fairy. Plus Honey Hunt -gasp- has been updated.

Aside from those, I've been hooked to reading Sumomo-sensei's works. It was love at first sight. ♥ I love her shojo and BL titles and it's refreshing how there's minimal (or no) sex involved, and how the characters are mostly young people. It balances out Miyamoto Kano-sensei's works, which I'm also trying to finish (I love the drama in her work *A* Though I have to admit that some of her storylines are pretty boring and repetitive ;^^)

This Sunday, I bought two new yaoi DVDs from 2rats plus a Battle Royale DVD in replacement for the Cowboy Bebop movie (it was out of stock). I was surprised to find out that the three salesladies there watched yaoi, but one of the ates loved it a lot so she managed to give me new titles to put into my to-watch list ♥ (Not much spoilers under the cut, surprisingly.)

Another thing: while I was looking through the series, I found Nube in it and it made me feel nostalgic. It's ironic that I really used to cut church to watch that but now I barely remember what it's about (all I can recall is that Nube had some sort of demonic arm /fail) My unfinished anime are bothering me right now so I decided to finish Love Hina (did this a few days ago). Rurouni Kenshin (last season, plus the OVAs), Yu Yu Hakusho and probably, read the Ranma 1/2 manga before Rumiko Takahashi-sensei decides to have all soft copies of her work taken down. I guess I also have to start downloading the Arcobaleno Arc episodes, too...

People have eyes so that they can see the horizon coming closer as they move forward. They also have eyes to see the backs of other people. Kamina belonged to the first; Simon, second.
